In 2016, NAVASHA was envisioned to bridge the gap that most first -generation learners face. These students are mentored by students of grade XI and XII in small groups after school hours every day for an hour and additional support is provided to them.
NAVASHA not only equips students with basic communication skills and functional mathematics it also helps them to showcase their talents and hone their skills. Regular workshops and orientation programs are conducted from time to time to keep them on board and help these students better. The student teachers and students have emerged stronger and more resolute with enhanced communication, negotiation and team skills. This year in May and June during the summer break the students of Grade XII mentored the students of the Economically weaker section in small groups online.
