Skilling Day - 26th July

Class 1 and 2

Paper Bag Making - On Day 5 of CBSE Shiksha Saptah, dedicated to skilling, students engaged in a creative hands-on activity by making paper bags in class. This practical exercise not only honed their crafting skills but also promoted sustainability and environmental awareness. Glimpse

Class 3 to 5

During CBSE Shiksha Saptah Day 5, Class 3, Class 4 and Class 5 students participated in engaging craft activities. Class 3 and 4 students made colorful paper mats by cutting and weaving craft paper, which enhanced their fine motor skills and fostered creativity and teamwork. Meanwhile, Class 5 students learned to create posters, focusing on effective drawing techniques and color application. Both activities provided practical experience in design and artistic expression, making learning both enjoyable and productive. Glimpse

Shiksha Saptah - 22nd to 26th July

'whole School Painting Day' - Theme - Beautification Of The School Campus.

In the light of the Shiksha Saptah, under the whole school painting day with the theme of beautification of the school students of grade 6 to 12 were actively involved in displaying their artistic and creative skills by painting the traditional art forms of India .  The activity was conducted on 25/07/2024. The activity was engrossing and it enabled students to discover their potential beyond their boundaries of imagination.

Event highlights:-

1. More than 150 students from class 6 to 12 portrayed their artistic bent of mind

2. Various traditional art forms and paintings were done during this event 

3. Life painting sessions were undertaken by the students 

4. Live demo and art workshop was undertaken by the teacher 

5. The creative work was pinned on the school display boards



Cultural Day Classes 3 to 5

On the fourth day of Shiksha Saptah, the Primary Section celebrated Cultural Day with great enthusiasm and flair. The day was filled with a vibrant array of performances showcasing the talents of young students. The program featured delightful dances, melodious songs, and heartfelt recitations of poems. It was a joyous occasion where students not only displayed their artistic abilities but also learned the importance of cultural expression and creativity. Cultural Day provided a platform for children to shine and for the school community to come together in celebration of diversity and talent.

Nipun Pledge - 23rd July

Taking of NIPUN pledge. The Maths Department celebrated Shiksha Saptah. On account of this, Students took the NIPUN Pledge. After taking the NIPUN (National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy) Pledge, Class 6 students have embarked on an exciting journey to enhance their mathematical skills through engaging and interactive games.

Digital Games - 23rd July

The students were engaged in different kinds of games present online such as merging numbers, Hypersnake and merge to million. Team-based games foster teamwork and collaboration, reducing math anxiety and cultivating a positive attitude towards the subject. These games have transformed the classroom into an exciting and effective learning environment, making math a student favorite.

FLN Day (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy) - 23rd July

Classes 1 to 5

On Day 2 of CBSE Shiksha Saptah, focused on FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy), stakeholders were engaged through toy-based and play-based activities, including a captivating puppet show. The day featured the screening of an FLN film to enhance understanding of the NIPUN/FLN Mission and to generate widespread awareness about its critical importance in education. Glimpse

Spellathon Competition - 15th July

Students of grades 6-12 participated in the Spellathon competition where words from various subjects of different degrees of difficulty were given to the students on the spot. This enabled students to learn new words and 
build their vocabulary.

INTERHOUSE SOLO SINGING COMPETITION (GRADES 6-12) - 2ND JULY

An inter-house Solo Singing Competition for grades 6-12 students was organized with the theme of motivational or devotional songs. All the participants did a fantastic job and showcased their hard work and talent. It was a pleasure to hear all of them sing with such a melodious voice and excitement. Glimpse

VAN MAHOTSAV - 5TH JULY

To teach the values of environmental consciousness from a young age and enhance students’ creativity, Van Mahotsav was celebrated by students of grades Prep to XII. Grade-wise events were organized in which students participated with great enthusiasm. Prep 1 and Prep 2 were taken on a Nature Walk and planted saplings as well; grade 1 did Hand printouts with a slogan; grade 2 did Gift from Tree; grade 3 made posters on Saving Trees; grade 4 did an interesting Show and tell: Medicinal Plants and grade 5 did Collage making with dried leaves. In the senior classes of 6-12 the activity EACH ONE - PLANT ONE was conducted where every student planted a seed in the class and took responsibility for taking care of it. Glimpse
